Spanish Class Testimonials
”Both of our kids studied in Step into Spanish Classes. They have a fantastic program for physicians beginning their residencies in mostly Hispanic communities. It is an priceless resource for Abingdon. “

”The Spanish classes I got at Step into Spanish Classes provided my first encounter of speaking Spanish , . Bernardo, the founder/director of Step into Spanish Classes, was instrumental for making me feel comfortable enough to attempt speaking , and I was excited finally to speak a bit of Spanish without fear. But what was transformational for me was the incredible energy and atmosphere of Step into Spanish Classes, and the warm community there.”
Erica Grecko, Abingdon, VA
”Step into Spanish Classes is wonderful community center which thrives on the diversity of the people it serves. At Step into Spanish Classes I met world class musicians, medical professionals, accountants, actors, writers- even a Rockette! The center is much more than the wonderful language ; it’s about creating community through communication.”
-Mary Claire Mortimore
“I studied at Step into Spanish Classes before moving to Buenos Aires, Argentina to work as a journalist. I was very impressed by the rigor of Step into Spanish Classes program, the warmth of its instructors, and the programming. Losing Step into Spanish Classes would be a great disappointment to every person in Abingdon who values culture, learning, and the vitality here.. “
